Girl with horses

After many horse studies and lots of uncertainty, I was able to paint ‘Girl with Horses’. Once again, I tried to forget about details and focused on the larger image to keep aiming for a more impressionist outcome.

Painting horses for the first time, adding rich warm outlines and a blurry background, was quite challenging for me. Luckily, the result was exactly what I wanted: a gentle moment with the horses in a cozy, warm afternoon sunset.
